COGS187A Portfolio

This is my digital portfolio for my COGS187A class. It was created solely by me using Photoshop CS4, Dreamweaver CS4, and Notepad++.

This project as you can see on the right went through several revisions. The first revision was a very basic and simple site that in the end, looked extremely bland, but was functional in the sense that everything you needed to know was there.

The second revision was slightly more styled, but kept the same format which in the end, I decided was not laid out very logically nor was it pleasing in terms of layout. There wasn't much added in terms of actual looks, but the behind the scenes HTML and CSS were greatly improved/cleaned up on.

In the third revision, there is a total and complete change of how things were laid out and how things were organized. I created a banner for the front page detailing a bit about myself as a designer and creative mind as well as designed a meaningful logo. I changed the color scheme to be a little more pleasing on the eyes and easier to read. One of the bigger things added was the addition of the LightBox 2.0 script which adds a bit more interactivity to the sight as well as a better and more intuitive way to incorporate multiple images of the website.
